PRE-PRODUCTION:
Before we begin
We provide our clients the opportunity to globally, strategically source all their fixtures and displays, at no cost or obligation to each client. As an example, we provide our clients with our FedEx Ground account number, which allows them to ship samples of their racks and displays to our world headquarters here in Simi Valley. Once the samples are received, our 12-member engineering/design department creates engineering/manufacturing drawings, replicating the racks, and returning the drawings to our clients along with the international cost savings proposal. During discussions with the client, our engineering department also makes suggestions regarding “value added engineering” to further reduce the clients cost without compromising the integrity of the clients merchandising objectives.
The process continues, once the client verifies it’s a substantial savings, we proceed to fabricate a first article of production, and fly that in at our expense, directly to our client for their review and approval along with the international cost savings proposal before we start the production run.
After careful review of the client concept, Shopper Metalworks Division develops prototypes free of charge. With no obligation, the client then has the liberty to evaluate our work. Our comprehensive production capabilities enable us to meet the most demanding specifications.
The client's approval sets the design phase in motion, with our expert engineers leading the way. Detailed mechanical drawings are produced and cost-saving proposals are then issued. Client purchase orders complete this well orchestrated process.
